I decided to take a summer hiatus from blogging, frankly because after the insanity of the spring semester I needed three months of completely doing nothing. Even though I took it easy (for once) there were some exciting things that happened over the summer I wanted to share! The first being that my Hydrangea Book won Best in Show at the Greenwood Festival of Flowers in June and the second is that the book I was chosen to be in was finally published. Above is an image from the interior pages of my Hydrangea Book which took Best in Show at the Greenwood Festival of Flowers in Greenwood, SC at the end of June, the rest of the book can be seen here. Below is the cover for the book, 1000 Artists' Books by Sandra Salamony and Peter & Donna Thomas, which was published on June 6th and is also available on Amazon.com here.
