Drawn South Series | These drawings are dust and dirt. Moody line work adds drama and rich umber tones remind you that they are of the earth and returning to it all in one fell swoop.
Each drawing in this series depicts a snapshot from my time on the road. Local haunts, abandoned thoughts and the long winding back roads of the lesser known parts. Places that you frequently pass and often forget.
The drawing is 11 x 14” on 90lb. Fabriano Watercolor Paper with watercolor, ink pen and sealed with acrylic media.
These would look stunning in any cabin, farmhouse or rustic setting. A nice white mat around it and a good rich wood frame would compliment them well.
